Gilbers Environmental Technologies has been involved for more than 15 years in research and development of granulated adsorption materials for the removal of heavy metals from water.

Although several other granulated materials have emerged, DIAKAT® lays claim to being the "father" of all heavy metal and anionic adsorption granulates available on the market.

Gilbers Environmental Technologies covers the areas of ground-water remediation, potable water treatment, rain-water recovery, remediation of natural ponds, lakes, dams and streams, and pond enthusiasts who care for aquatic species as an hobby with filter granulates.

Gilbers Environmental Technologies is proud to announce that during 2005/2006 a synthetic iron hydroxide granulate was produced which has the capacity to remove and reduce arsenate, phosphate, silicate and sulphide ions to meet environmental standards.

  Service / Project planning
This concept begins with your personal requirements. To enable Gilbers Environmental Technologies to meet your specific needs, we need to know about your plant i.e. waste water quantity, contaminants and concentration (should these not be known, please do not hesitate to contact Gilbers Environmental Technologies to have samples accurately analysed to highest European standards) and last but not least what is the desired outcome; to meet a standard or only to reduce waste water discharge contamination.

Based on your requirements a pilot plant study may be necessary, since each application differs and Gilbers Environmental Technologies realises that laboratory results may not always be applicable for each case. Gilbers Environmental Technologies is your partner to realise your project to protect your organisation and our environment!

The services that Gilbers Environmental Technologies offers:
• Development of an appropriate granulate for your application
• Partnership in the development of the project
• Quality Assurance (ISO 9000)
• Quality Management (ISO 9000)
• Quality Audit (ISO 9000)
